We are seeking a highly skilled Blood Management Coordinator to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our blood management department.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clerical support to the healthcare team, including scheduling, registration, and verification of patient information.
- Collect co-payments and coinsurance from patients, and ensure accurate billing and collections.
- Assist with typing, scanning, and answering telephones to support waiting room flow and patient care.
- Perform other clerical tasks as needed to support department operations.
- 5-10 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Associates degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.
- Experience with EPIC and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual speaking skills.
This is a per-diem position, working two shifts per month. Day shift is preferred.
