About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Skills Trainer to join our team at Clarvida, LLC. As a Residential Skills Trainer, you will work closely with adults experiencing severe and persistent mental illness in a residential setting, providing life-skills training to enhance their recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily life-skills training to clients, including food purchasing and preparation, housekeeping, and financial budgeting
  • Transport clients within a company vehicle, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Meet with clients regularly to assess their progress and adjust training plans as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid GA driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Satisfactory results of a criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.)
  • Minimum of one year of experience working in a mental health or substance abuse residential facility; or
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with a psychiatric population
