Nurse Care Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Essentia Health Moose Lake Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients. Your expertise and compassion will make a healthy difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and provide nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
- Contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meet the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
- Respond to emergency calls, assist ambulance teams in performance of medical services, and ensure safe transportation of patients to medical facilities.
Requirements:
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
- Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 year from date of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 year from date of hire.
