Dishwasher Job Description

Holly Hill Inn, a fine dining restaurant in the Ouita Michel family of businesses, is seeking a qualified Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and well-organized kitchen environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Wash and Sanitize Dishes: Consistently ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing flatware, dishes, pans, and pots.
  • Maintain a Clean Work Environment: Clean kitchen machines and appliances, including coffee makers, pans, pots, mixers, and stoves.

As a Dishwasher, you will also be responsible for:

  • Bussing tables to collect soiled plates and flatware
  • Maintaining the availability of clean dishes at all times
  • Cleaning kitchen appliances and machines
  • Helping other team members to unload and store deliveries
  • Assisting other staff members with tasks when needed
  • Adhering to food safety procedures and regulations
  • Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans
Requirements:
  • Minimal work experience as a dishwasher
  • Proficiency in operating with different types of dishes
  • Knowledge and adherence to all food safety procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
