HANAC, Inc. is a prominent social services organization established to address the needs of diverse populations across New York City. Our mission is to provide essential support and resources to those in need.
The Program Aide for the NORC initiative will collaborate closely with the Program Director to oversee the daily functions of a social services information and assistance program, focusing on benefits and entitlements for eligible community members.
Compensation: $22.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (17 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the collection of donations
- Process bank deposits
- Distribute invoices for transportation services
- Prepare and submit accounts payable requisitions for director approval
- Conduct follow-up communications to confirm receipt of invoices related to transportation
- Engage with clients as necessary
- Participate in required training sessions
- Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, along with experience in accounts receivable and payable
