Sartell-St. Stephen Schools is seeking a skilled Set Painter to join their team. As a key member of the production team, the Set Painter will work closely with students to bring the set to life. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and design, as well as the ability to teach and mentor students. The Set Painter will be responsible for base coating the set and props, designing the color scheme in collaboration with the Costume Designer, Lighting Designer, and Director, and teaching dry-brushing, splatter, and texture painting techniques. The Set Painter will also be responsible for buying paint and brushes, teaching proper cleaning and prep techniques, coordinating with the set builder, and organizing paint and equipment at strike. The Set Painter will work closely with the production team to ensure a successful and high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
