Job Summary

VDart Inc is seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop analytics-based solutions that produce quantitative and qualitative business insights
  • Work with partners to integrate systems and data quickly and effectively
  • Lead efforts to design, build, and configure applications
  • Design and architect Snowflake projects
  • Develop expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, and implementing stored procedures and standard DWH/ETL concepts
  • Own end-to-end RFP or RFI or proactive proposals, client presentations, and solution workshops
  • Contribute to estimation, building PoVs, offerings development, training, and capability building
  • Client-facing role in running solution workshops, client visits, handling large RFP pursuits, and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Clear understanding of Snowflake's advanced concepts, including virtual warehouses, query performance, micro partitions, and pruning
  • Proficient with data platform architecture design, data dictionaries, multidimensional models, objects, star and snowflake schemas, and structures for data lakes, data science, and data warehouses using Snowflake
  • Deploy fully operational data warehouse solutions into production on Snowflake
  • Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design architecture
  • Perform project management activities, including project documentation, business requirements, and project tracking
  • Develop Snowflake SQL, writing SQL queries against Snowflake, and developing scripts using Unix, Python, etc. to do Extract, Load, and Transform data
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures
  • In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse, ODS, ETL concept, and modeling structure principles
  • Experience in Data warehousing, OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling
  • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
  • Good working knowledge of any ETL tool
  • Ability to effectively function in a cross-functional environment
