Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to work with our team in delivering patient-focused care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing standards of care for occupational therapy services and building relationships with patients, families, and caregivers.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective plans of care.
  • Administer occupational therapy programs using specialized techniques and equipment to improve patient function and independence.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on treatment plans and progress.
  • Participate in case conferences, in-services, and other meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Supervise home health aides as needed to ensure quality care.
Requirements
  • Possesses a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Meets the education and experience requirements for certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Is certified to practice Occupational Therapy.
  • A minimum of one year's clinical experience in Occupational Therapy.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Possesses and maintains current BLS Hands On CPR certification.
