Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team at Ohio State's Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. As a Cardiac PCU Nurse, you will provide patient care in a lower acuity cardiac unit, working closely with our experienced team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac PCU environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient vital signs as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in unit-specific competency exams and maintain current certifications
Requirements
  • 2 years of PCU experience required
  • IV start and telemetry skills required
  • EPIC experience required
  • Current BCLS/ACLS certifications required
  • NIH certification required for certain units
