Position Overview:
Our thriving food distribution organization is in search of a Facility Services Supervisor responsible for ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of our entire facility.
This role involves executing daily, short-term, and long-term projects related to the maintenance of the facility, including equipment and machinery upkeep, lighting systems management, grounds maintenance, security, and overall aesthetic appeal. You will oversee and coordinate the efforts of any external contractors as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in a variety of skills including carpentry, plumbing, masonry, painting, janitorial tasks, and special projects.
- Available around the clock for urgent situations.
- Computer proficiency is essential for utilizing software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Implement preventive maintenance for relevant warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Ensure sanitation standards are upheld throughout the facility.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations.
- Manage Capital Improvement Projects.
- Coordinate necessary support from third-party contractors.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized, clean work environments.
- Exhibit team leadership skills to guide the maintenance and sanitation team towards achieving results.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by Ownership and the Director of Supply Chain.
