  4. Mentor and evaluate teaching faculty, promoting their growth and development
  5. Recruit and retain a high-caliber resident body that reflects the community's diversity
  6. Foster a psychologically safe environment that encourages open communication and feedback
  7. Manage the residency budget effectively, ensuring adequate resources for resident education and scholarly activities
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with community-based and academic institutions
  9. Perform other duties as necessary to support the program's success

Qualifications

  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the State of California
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program

  • 3-5 years of experience in Internal Medicine education and/or administration, preferably in a residency program director role
