MRI Technologist Position in Yakima, Washington

About the JobWe are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at a top healthcare facility in Yakima, Washington. As an MRI Technologist with MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, utilizing your skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities- Imaging Operations: Utilize your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to safely and efficiently operate MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury.
- Patient Safety: Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors who come into contact with the powerful magnetic field of a MRI scanner.
- Scan Preparation: Position patients and coils on a table that slides inside the MRI scanner.
- Contrast Media Administration: Inject contrast media as required.
- Image Acquisition and Analysis: Set appropriate technical parameters, operate MRI scanners and related equipment, and observe image data on computer monitors during scans.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Credentials: Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology and valid state radiology registration.
- Experience: Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
- Professional Certifications: Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
