Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality patient care to residents in post-acute facilities, working closely with medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents, including measuring and monitoring vital signs, reporting to your supervisor as necessary
  • Observe and report any concerns to the broader nursing team
  • Serve meals to residents and assist with feeding as needed
  • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces, keep residents' rooms clean, and change linens as needed
  • Communicate with medical staff, residents, and family members
  • Move residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and reposition them as needed
  • Offer a compassionate ear to residents and provide companionship
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current New Jersey Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Understanding of nursing care procedures and related medical terminology
  • Effective organization skills and ability to communicate with medical professionals, residents, and family members
  • A high level of attention to detail
