Role Overview:
As a prominent player in the logistics sector, we prioritize enhancing the work experience for our employees. Our HGV drivers are essential in transporting palletized goods throughout the UK. This is a full-time position with varying shift patterns, allowing you to spend your days operating a modern HGV, with a focus on safe and timely deliveries.

Training and Support:
We offer comprehensive induction training and ongoing support. ADR Training is available through our dedicated in-house training academy.

Key Requirements:
- Valid HGV driving qualifications and necessary driving cards (CPC, Tachograph).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Capability to perform essential vehicle safety inspections and maintain cleanliness.
- Adherence to Road Traffic Legislation and the Highway Code while operating your vehicle.
- Completion of Daily Vehicle Checks and reporting any issues.
- Proper use of safety equipment, especially personal protective gear.
- Compliance with all legal requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- Submission of all relevant documentation as directed by your Manager/Supervisor.
- Adherence to company regulations.

Benefits of Employment:
As a Clarke Transport HGV Driver, you will receive:
- 20 days of annual leave plus eight statutory holidays (28 days total).
- Optional Saturday work at an enhanced rate.
- Weekly pay (every Thursday).
- Additional holiday entitlement after four years of service - one extra day for each additional year, up to a maximum of five extra days.
- Death in service benefit of £20,000.
- Permanent employment with opportunities for career advancement and ongoing training, including ADR and DCPC Training.
- Provision of full uniform and PPE, along with an auto-enrollment pension scheme.

10-hour shifts

Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years driving a Goods Vehicle (required)
- Minimum of 2 years in Multi Drop (required)

Licenses/Certifications:
- Driver CPC (required)
- ADR (PACKAGES) (required)

Work Environment:
In-person
