We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at recruitAbility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant processing, facility, and support equipment.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be the first point of contact for equipment-related issues and will work closely with our production team to resolve problems efficiently. Your proactive approach to safety and quality will be essential in maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Collaborate with the production team to resolve production issues and ensure minimal downtime.
- Participate in shift huddles and contribute to a positive and safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
- At least 6 months of industrial maintenance experience or education.
- Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
