EEG Specialist

As an EEG Technician II at Dayton Children's, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality electroneurodiagnostic testing services to patients of various age ranges. Under the general supervision of Neurologists and Senior Technologists, you will perform tests in the lab or at the patient's bedside, ensuring accurate and timely results. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to interact effectively with other techs and department personnel, fostering a collaborative environment and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires flexibility, as you may be required to work days, nights, and weekends, including holidays. Responsibilities:
• Perform electroneurodiagnostic testing (EEG, AEEG, EMU, and EVP) for patients of various age ranges
• Conduct tests in the lab or at the patient's bedside, ensuring accurate and timely results
• Interact with other techs and department personnel to ensure teamwork and provide support
• Maintain consistent and quality testing/customer service
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Board Eligible, but not required to have REEGT Certification or other National registry
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Work Schedule:
This position will include two 9-hour shifts and one 6-hour shift. EEG Tech II for Lab and EMU as needed.
