As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing various mixed-signal circuits, including power supplies, analog and digital control logic, and state machines, to be used with RF systems ranging from VHF to mmWave, Watts to Kilowatts of power.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement power supply circuits
- Develop analog control circuits and state machines
- Interface with microprocessors and single board computers
- Design and test multilayer board designs with mixed-signal analog/digital circuits
- Expertise in simulations tools such as ADS, Microwave Office, or other similar tools
- Understanding of microprocessor-controlled systems
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems quickly and independently
- Ability to work onsite with a team and in a lab environment
- Clear communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Significant experience designing UHF, microwave, or millimeter-wave solid-state amplifiers
- Design experience in meeting Military and High-Rel requirements
- BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of applicable experience, or MS and 6+ years
