Summary: Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to contribute to our outpatient imaging services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team in the Radiology department, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities:- Adhere to established performance standards, policies, and professional behaviors.
- Accurately prepare and position patients for various imaging examinations, ensuring all protocols are followed and documented.
- Manage designated areas and procedures, producing superior technical images while reviewing completed exams for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Assist physicians during imaging procedures as required.
- Conduct equipment quality assurance checks and calibrations, and manage supply orders as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of workspaces and equipment, promptly reporting any issues.
- Process imaging outputs or create CDs as needed.
- Perform routine administrative tasks, including patient check-ins and retrieval of prior reports.
- Communicate effectively with Radiologists and document necessary interactions.
- Provide clinical guidance to students and trainees.
- Exhibit professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with patients and staff, upholding the organization's behavioral standards.
- Educate patients and their families about the imaging procedures being performed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in caring for diverse patient populations.
- Engage in additional duties as assigned, including participation in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Be prepared to rotate coverage to other outpatient locations as needed.
- Be adaptable to changes in duties and hours based on departmental needs.
- Eligible for specialty certification compensation.
- Completion of an accredited allied health education program and radiography training.
- Current NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit, along with ARRT-RT certification or registered RT (R).
- Commitment to ongoing education to meet regulatory standards.
- Preferred: DOH IV certification or completion of a comprehensive orientation program.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory or must be obtained within the initial employment period.
- Compliance with radiation dose pledges as per the American College of Radiology guidelines during orientation and probation.
