Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Blaisdell Apartments, a 100% tax credit community in Minneapolis, MN. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our affordable community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of day-to-day operations, including leasing, resident services, and maintenance.
  • Process applications, conduct unit inspections, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws and other regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to enhance the overall performance of the property.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in leasing or management of a tax credit property.
  • Prior experience with tenant move-ins and move-outs, unit inspections, and application processing.
  • Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to make prompt decisions under pressure and identify areas for improvement.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other regulations governing multi-family housing operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Yardi or OneSite property management software.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
