Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Associate at West Virginia Employer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of shipments. Your responsibilities will include building and labeling packages, inspecting finished products for quality, and palletizing packaging according to standard work instructions. Additionally, you will be responsible for complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards, identifying improvement opportunities, and utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job.

Key Responsibilities:

Build shipping packages and label them with attention to detail regarding product type and quantity
Inspect finished product for quality per standard work instructions
Put filtration products in appropriate packaging for shipment
Palletize packaging per standard work instructions
Perform above work on one or more lines
Comply with all EHS standards
Identify improvement opportunities
Utilize proper PPE for each task associated with the job
Work safely and report all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures
Complete any initial or recurring training issued by the site or Eaton

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
Able to lift up to 40 lbs
Reside within a 50-mile radius of Williamsport, MD

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift certified
Manufacturing experience
Basic computer and software skills

Working Conditions:

The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour. The hours for first shift are as follows: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
