We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to lead our charge towards next-day test results, enabling physicians to diagnose and treat infections faster than ever.
Key Responsibilities- Execute sample preparation, DNA extraction, and PCR processes with precision and accuracy.
- Expertly handle manual and electronic pipetting of small sample volumes, ensuring minimal contamination and maximum efficiency.
- Utilize cutting-edge equipment, such as the Hamilton Vantage, KingFisher Flex, VeritiPro, and QuantStudio 12K and 5, to drive innovation and productivity.
- Collaborate with laboratory management and your team to maintain productivity, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Overnight availability is required.
- 1-year high complexity clinical laboratory experience is preferred, unless required by the state in which the laboratory is located.
- Broad understanding of sterile technique, contamination control, and unidirectional workflow necessary for a PCR lab.
- Prior knowledge of molecular laboratory techniques and processes, including but not limited to micropipette.
- ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification is preferred.
