Position Overview

The CT Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services within the healthcare environment. This position involves working collaboratively with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Must be ARRT certified in the relevant specialty (CT).
Job Responsibilities
  • The CT Tech will engage in a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, structured as four 10-hour shifts.
  • Will be required to work every third weekend, with potential for afternoon or night shifts based on patient volume.
  • Occasional on-call duties may be necessary.
  • The role encompasses responsibilities at both Genesis Hospital and the Genesis HealthPlex.
  • In rare circumstances, the CT Tech may be assigned to the Somerset campus during staffing or patient care emergencies.
  • Functions will include both CT Technologist and Radiology Technologist duties.
  • Proficiency with Siemens equipment and Epic EMR is essential.
Job Qualifications
  • BLS certification is required.
  • Must hold ARRT registration in the appropriate specialty (CT).
  • Must be licensed in the State of Ohio as a Radiologic Technologist: RT (CT).
Work Schedule
  • Standard schedule of 40 hours per week, with shifts of four 10-hour days.
  • Weekend shifts required every third week.
  • Flexibility for afternoon or night shifts may be needed based on patient census.
  • Occasional on-call duties are part of the role.
