Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate patients and establish plans of care based on age-specific considerations and patient/family goals.
  2. Perform ongoing assessments and recommend changes to treatment programs as necessary.
  3. Supervise physical therapist assistants or rehab techs as assigned and participate in work process and program development.
  4. Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to provide excellent patient care.
  5. Document patient care accurately and efficiently, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
  6. Participate in ongoing professional development, including continuing education and training, to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  7. Contribute to the development of new therapy programs and the enhancement of established programs.
  8. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Excela Health and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher level of education.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, and sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
