Role Summary: As a Repair Services Associate I, you will engage in various tasks that may change based on daily requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour duties will generally include:
- Executing fundamental tasks related to the maintenance of customer products while meeting productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Handling customer products, which encompasses receiving and shipping, addressing customer concerns, basic troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, inspections, basic hand soldering, cleaning, testing, and conducting final evaluations on mobile computing devices and scanners.
- Documenting work completed using symptom codes and reasons for parts replacement on a computer system.
- Gaining familiarity with specific products, processes, operational metrics, and software tools; learning and adhering to basic work instructions for functional tasks according to productivity and quality standards.
- Contributing ideas aimed at continuous improvement, documentation of work instructions, and standardization of procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent vocational qualification, or at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Basic computer and mechanical skills.
- Compliance with all necessary safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a secure work environment.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently.
- Strong attention to detail and the capability to follow instructions and written processes.
Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, scoop, and stand for extended periods.
Additional Attributes: Good attendance and a positive attitude, proficiency in basic math, and fundamental computer skills.
