At Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care and a supportive work environment for our team members. We are seeking a Seasonal RN Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team, working nights.
About the Role:This is a temporary (6-month) position, starting in January 2025. As a Seasonal RN Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care and support.
Responsibilities:- Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
- Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety activities.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
- Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
- Prefer one year, full-time or 3 years, part-time experience in acute care setting.
