Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pathologist to join our team at Seattle Children's Hospital. As a Senior Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing anatomic pathology services and serving as a resource for attending physicians, nursing staff, and other medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anatomic pathology services, including histopathology and cytopathology
  • Serve as a resource for attending physicians, nursing staff, and other medical professionals
  • Ensure the quality of all associated patient care and service
  • Contribute to the hospital's academic mission
  • Meet criteria for the University of Washington School of Medicine faculty appointment
Requirements
  • MD Degree
  • Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Pathology
  • Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children's
  • Faculty appointment at the University of Washington
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least three (3) years clinical experience in Pediatric Pathology
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $283,425 to $464,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 403(b), life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
