Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cardiothoracic surgeon to join our team at the Medical University of South Carolina. As a faculty member in our cardiothoracic surgery department, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cardiology to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the advancement of our field.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the development and implementation of clinical programs and services in cardiothoracic surgery
• Collaborate with cardiology and other departments to provide comprehensive patient care
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in cardiothoracic surgery
• Conduct research and publish papers in cardiothoracic surgery

Self Regional is a non-profit hospital and the region's largest employer, providing care to residents of Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens, Saluda, McCormick, Edgefield, and Newberry Counties. Our medical group is a large, private practice division of Self Regional Healthcare, employing over 100 physicians and 50 specialists.
