Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Resurgens Orthopaedics. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from orthopedic injuries and illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough OT evaluations and create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with referring physicians.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent physical disabilities.
  • Supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians to ensure compliance with treatment plans.
  • Communicate regularly with healthcare professionals to ensure successful patient treatment outcomes.
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information.
  • Provide excellent customer service and educate patients on injury prevention, conditioning, and rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
  • Georgia State License granted by the Georgia Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Specialty certifications, such as CHT, are welcome.
  • Two years of experience treating patients in an orthopedic setting is preferred.

The work environment is typical of a physician's practice. Employees may be exposed to risk of infectious diseases when interacting with patients and/or family members. The employee may be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.

The success of HIPAA policies and procedures is dependent upon the awareness and buy-in of everyone involved in daily healthcare operations, including reporting incidents to their supervisor or directly to the HIPAA leadership.
