This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Perioperative Nurse to join our team as an Assistant Nurse Director for our Intermediate Surgery unit. In this position, you will play a key role in leading and developing our nursing team, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Nurse Director is responsible for supervising a team of nurses and support staff, promoting excellent patient outcomes, and contributing to the development of clinical practices. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for nursing excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a clinical expert and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance on best practices and supporting their professional development.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans, improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  • Develop and manage budgets, resources, and staffing plans to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
  • A current Massachusetts nursing license.
  • At least 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing, with a focus on leadership and education.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for innovation, continuous learning, and quality improvement.
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as employee assistance programs and retirement savings options.
