Position Overview

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Lead Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Analyst to enhance our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned SUE expert looking to advance their career within a progressive Engineering, Surveying, and Planning organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct utility designation, perform thorough utility records analysis, and interpret site and roadway design documents.
  • Possess over 5 years of practical experience in utility location.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and management capabilities during field operations.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Ground Penetrating Radar, electromagnetic pipe and cable locating tools, and vacuum excavation techniques.
  • Experience in land surveying is advantageous, particularly with Trimble data collection, GPS technology, and robotic total stations.
  • Familiarity with DOT, municipal, and public utility projects is beneficial.
  • Manage daily file submissions, including data downloads, field sketch organization, digital photo preparation, completion of daily checklists, timesheets, personnel oversight, quality assurance, and vehicle navigation.
  • Willingness to travel for work assignments as required.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening, background verification, and maintain a satisfactory driving record in line with company policies.
