Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Educational Support Specialists to provide assistance in a classroom setting. Candidates should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a paraprofessional or special education role.

Position Details:

  • Location: Ash Grove, MO
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Work Schedule: 30-40 Hours/Week | 5 Days/Week
  • Compensation: $18-$20/hr (weekly pay)
  • Benefits: Health, dental, vision insurance, 401k, and more available
  • Contract Duration: August to June 2025 with potential for renewal
  • Immediate Interviews: Candidates will be considered promptly

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include at least two of the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 60+ college credit hours
  • Associate's degree
  • Paraprofessional certification
  • Substitute teaching certification
  • CPI training
  • Experience in educational or daycare environments, particularly with special education and behavioral needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead educator in organizing and executing classroom activities
  • Support individual students and small groups in their educational journey
  • Oversee students during recreational and educational activities
  • Contribute to a safe and encouraging learning atmosphere
