Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Couples Therapist to work with our clients in a modern outpatient setting. As a Couples Therapist, you will conduct assessments and provide ongoing therapy to couples, as well as some individual therapy. You will also maintain appropriate clinical documentation, develop and implement treatment plans, and coordinate services with case managers, families, medical personnel, and other Ellie staff as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and provide ongoing therapy to couples and individuals
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, medical personnel, and other Ellie staff as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Collaborate with the dynamic team of coworkers and community partners to further the mission of Ellie Mental Health
  • Attend and participate in all staff meetings and trainings
  • Engage in networking and outreach to promote Ellie Mental Health in the community
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science from an accredited college or university
  • Independent or associate licensure as a LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT in the state of NC
  • Demonstrable experience in working with couples
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to demonstrate adaptability and solution-oriented thinking
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with children, adolescents, and teens
  • General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and mental health documentation
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems
