Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to patients undergoing labor and delivery, as well as supporting obstetricians, surgical scrub techs, and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, surgical scrub techs, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Current CA RN licensure.
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
  • NRP Certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience preferred.

Shift and Schedule:

Nights, 3 x 12 hours, every other weekend, no call required.

Benefits:

Tact Staff offers a competitive pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
