About the Role

This position involves conducting maintenance duties, including setup, installation, fabrication, and repair, to maintain building and equipment under the guidance of the Lead Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate may also provide training and/or supervise less experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and direct the Company's health and safety objectives and support the company's health and safety directives to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.
  2. Regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal legislations.
  3. Establishing plant-wide measurable goals that meet or exceed industry standards, and are monitored, tracked, and audited on a regular basis and communicated to employees.
  4. Recognition of accomplishments/milestones in the areas of safety, environmental, ergonomics, and employee wellness.
  5. Development of effective programs that increase employee awareness and involvement in the areas of safety, environmental, ergonomics, and employee wellness.
  6. Accountability of supervisors for enforcing safety rules and implementing the necessary training and corrective actions to ensure proper focus on established objectives.
  7. Oversee installation of new equipment by contractors as required.
  8. Perform daily start-up and shutdown procedures.
  9. Repair any manufacturing equipment in the event of failure.
  10. Identify and correct any safety issues inside the AIM Systems facility.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

We are seeking an Associate's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required, along with extensive knowledge of programmable logic controls and experience with six-axis robotics.
