Key Responsibilities
  • Grow and Expand Transportation Services: Develop and implement strategies to grow and expand transportation services and clients in the state.
  • Project Management: Effectively lead and manage activities and people on specific projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
  • Design and Engineering: Ensure that designs are in accordance with federal, city, and DOT specifications, and oversee the preparation of detailed engineering analyses, schedules, and technical reports.
  • Team Leadership: Create and foster a project team culture of superior service for the customer, and lead by example to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Client Liaison: Interface with clients, CAD designers, other engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and project success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer License: Possess a Professional Engineer license in the applicable state or be able to obtain it within 6 months.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in the design and construction of state DOT and county highway projects.
  • Leadership and Project Management Skills: Demonstrate excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with groups both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of Codes and Regulations: Possess a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
  • Authorization to Work in the United States: Be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
