Position Summary

The Automotive Technician position requires experience and technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction. Our technicians enjoy a performance-based compensation model known as flat-rate pay, which rewards skilled professionals with a predetermined amount for each eligible task, fostering a culture of efficiency and swift task accomplishment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, transmission fluid changes, and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including batteries and electrical components
  • Conduct tire maintenance and repairs
  • Install parts and accessories
  • Road test vehicles to ensure safe and proper operation
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
  • Valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessment
  • A.S.E. certification in at least one of A1-A8 is preferred
  • Reading, writing, and math skills
