Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide clinical expertise and ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a medical surgical environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be able to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients.

Responsibilities include instructing patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, maintaining and reviewing patients' records, and administering medications in accordance with physician orders.

  • Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
