This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the assigned region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, strategic planning, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve market share and financial growth
- Collaborate with local C-suite executives to drive long-range plans and expansion
- Promote expansion of provider network to ensure sufficiency
- Provide leadership to assigned departments, including business development, strategy, decision support, and physician relations
- Minimum 10 years of experience in physician services, marketing, operations, and/or business research and development
- Comprehensive knowledge of physician relations and business development
- Strong understanding of marketing activities, hospital management, and department structures
- Ability to navigate complex healthcare environment and build relationships with disparate entities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and other related technology
- Bachelor's degree in business management, public relations, or equivalent analytical discipline
- MBA or MHA preferred
Up to 75% travel expectation, with 1 week per month spent in the McAllen/Edinburg market
Skills- Adept in abstract analysis and financial proforma interpretation
- Strong project management skills and follow-through
- Persuasive work organization and analytical skills
- Excellent formal presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to influence behaviors and outcomes through collaboration and coaching
