Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and eliminate redundant or ineffective VoIP solutions.
  • Direct the development of robust telephony environments suitable for remote work and advanced technologies.
  • Analyze the efficiency of VoIP business processes, software, and infrastructure.
  • Design and implement VoIP Zero Trust Architecture and IPv6 frameworks.
  • Manage the replacement, upgrade, design, and integration of voice and video telephony solutions.
  • Configure and deploy IP voice and video conferencing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with SIP providers for number allocation, SIP trunking, and security evaluations.
  • Ensure continuous operational functionality and system security through regular maintenance tasks.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on VoIP technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in VoIP engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of telephony environments, routing, and dial plans.
  • Strong grasp of network protocols, security principles, and VoIP architectures.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing VoIP solutions within enterprise settings.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and drive projects to completion.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA Voice, CCNP Voice, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for site visits and service delivery assessments.
