**Job Summary:**

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Manager is a senior nursing leader responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care in the NICU. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to drive quality improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement patient care strategies to improve outcomes and satisfaction
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care quality and safety
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to support patient care initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with current evidence-based practices and regulations in neonatal care

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in NICU nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills, with a focus on quality improvement and patient safety
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field
  • Specialty certification in Neonatal Intensive Care
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and data analysis
