Key Responsibilities- Lead and communicate with small to large construction teams, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
- Manage logistics of material deliveries from vendors to job sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Use in-field construction software to track progress and manage team activities, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Read, understand, and implement plans, blueprints, and specifications within the heavy civil construction world, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Provide daily toolbox talks and ensure team members are aware of safety protocols, promoting a safe working environment.
- Ensure all daily on-the-job equipment reports and inspections are completed and signed, maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
- Follow all company-mandated and government safety/health guidelines, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide on-site hands-on training for field personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Understand and communicate project budgets and job tracking, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- 3+ years of experience as a Foreman/Superintendent in excavation/civil construction projects.
- 5+ years of experience operating excavators, with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, leadership, and attention to detail, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- OSHA 10 certified, with a strong commitment to safety and health.
- Able to meet physical demands, including lifting 50 pounds and climbing ladders, with a strong ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Full-time position with 40-50 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate up to $40.00.
