Job Description

As a Senior Systems Design Engineer at Amtec Inc., you will be part of a diverse group of driven professionals who design products and systems that support defence initiatives. Your primary responsibilities include developing subsystem and component performance specifications by analyzing and deriving necessary requirements, documenting concept design decisions, supporting the generation of System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments, coordinating and facilitating formal decisions and trade studies, and supporting the execution and monitoring of cost, schedule, and risk.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 6+ years of relevant experience. You should possess systems engineering experience performing requirements analysis, derivation, and allocation, as well as translating requirements to viable concepts design solutions within applicable constraints. Additionally, you should be able to balance system design considering system concept of operations (CONOPS), performance, constraints, and logistics concerns, and plan, conduct, and document complex trade studies.
