**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Special Procedures Tech to join our Interventional Radiology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality and efficient completion of Interventional procedures for interpretation.

**Responsibilities:**

* Participate in Interventional Radiology procedures, adhering to radiation safety standards, quality standards, and performance improvement initiatives.
* Maintain the ability to scrub and/or circulate during procedures.
* Ensure equipment operation, troubleshoot issues, and report any malfunctions or potential hazards through the chain of command.
* Play an active role in the patient-related experience, preparing patients for procedures, explaining procedures, and positioning patients as needed.
* Observe patients during procedures and assist them at the end of the procedure.
* Maintain aseptic technique and sterility during setup and procedures.
* Interface professionally with staff, physicians, and other disciplines.
* Record, store, retrieve, and analyze data obtained during procedures.
* Provide patient documentation with regard to patient information and procedural-related information.
* Maintain supplies within the department and submit charge sheets through the appropriate chain of command for reordering of products or patient charging.

**Requirements:**

* Amer Registry Radiologic Tech (Required)
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
* Radiologic Technologist (Required)
* AART VI preferred
* Education or Equivalent Experience
* Interventional Radiology experience preferred
