Healthcare Access Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Access Specialist to join our team at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating new and established patients within our clinics. You will work collaboratively with all members of the health care team to ensure timely access to services and resources, providing continuity of care.

We are offering an estimated salary of $85,500 per year for this position, based on industry standards and location. If you have 5 years of clinical experience in an outpatient clinic and strong communication skills, you may be the ideal candidate for this role. This position requires proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, data entry, and electronic health records. Additionally, you should be able to work effectively with community health organizations and communicate effectively with staff members, community members, and patients.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma required
• Associates/Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited registered nursing program and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii
• 5 years clinical experience in an outpatient clinic preferred
• 2 years of leadership experience preferred
• Proficient in computer skills, including word processing, data entry, and electronic health records
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in partnership with community health organizations
• OSHA training annually
• BCLS every two years
