Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and reliable Paralegals to join our team in College Station, Lubbock, or Midland, TX. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in case management, litigation, and pre-litigation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with case management, including deadlines, settlement disbursal statements, and recommendations for cost-effective ways to accomplish client needs

• Manage timelines and deadlines of assigned cases

• Meet with new and existing clients to discuss case expectations and provide updates

• Draft legal documents, including pleas and motions for attorney review

• Identify issues and solve problems quickly

• Communicate with clients and insurance adjusters regularly

• Communicate effectively with internal records specialists and investigators to ensure accurate and complete investigative and medical records

• Enter detailed notes and keep cases updated in our case management system

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience as an insurance adjuster, legal assistant, legal secretary, paralegal, case management, or project management OR

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Positive attitude and self-starter
