Job Summary:- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Assist with patient assessment, care provision, and documentation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in unit operations, including supply management and equipment maintenance
- Assist patients with meeting nutritional and elimination needs, including feeding, passing, and collecting food trays, and assisting with bedpans/urinals/commode
- Assist patients with bed rest care, mobility, and personal hygiene and grooming, including transporting patients, assisting with dressing and undressing, and providing bed rest care
- Assist patients with comfort care and emotional support, including providing orientation to the room/unit, assisting patients with communications, and providing diversional activities
- Participate in promoting patient safety and environmental cleanliness/order, including using side rails appropriately, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and following transmission-based precautions
- High School Diploma or Equivalent - graduate of nursing assistant program
- ARC or AHA BLS, LNA certification
- 3 months LNA experience, preferably in an acute care setting
