About the Role

As a skilled Radiologic Technologist II, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians with diagnostic imaging procedures. With expertise in x-ray technology and techniques, you will help diagnose medical problems for patients across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various diagnostic x-ray procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, portable diagnostic, and portable fluoroscopy, while prioritizing radiation safety for patients, staff, and yourself.
  • Apply sterile technique when necessary.
  • Demonstrate patient anatomy through optimal positioning and technical factor selection.
  • Administer venipunctures as required.
  • Operate diagnostic x-ray equipment and support systems efficiently, including HIS, RIS, Scheduling System, PACS, and offsite Radiologist Services.
  • Utilize department computer systems and PACS to review patient history and document studies accurately.
  • Care for patients of all ages, maintain confidentiality, and coordinate exams within the department and with other departments for efficient care.
  • Handle scheduling, coordination, or questions via telephone with courtesy and accuracy.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness, notify coordinators of issues, and contact vendors as needed.
  • Keep areas supplied appropriately.
  • Set up and operate c-arms and o-arms in high-volume surgical cases, fostering positive relationships with surgeons.
Requirements and Qualifications

Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology with current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required, along with a valid State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer license. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is also necessary. Bryan Health recognizes certifications from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and Military Training Network.

Salary and Benefits
