About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Signature Smiles on Broadway. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care and ensure accurate treatment planning.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to support our dentists in making informed treatment decisions.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to support our dentists during a wide range of procedures.
  • Utilize Dentrix software to manage patient scheduling and record-keeping, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, ordering and expediting supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Partner with our dentists and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.

Requirements
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, as required by state dental practice act.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
