About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic GIS Technician to join our team at Trigyn Technologies Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, enter, and manipulate data in various GIS systems, including ArcOnline, ArcGIS Desktop, 3-GIS WEB, 3-GIS WEBJS, and 3-GIS Mobile.
  • Utilize survey reports, maps, drawings, plats, aerial photography, and other geographic data to inform the design of FTTx projects.
  • Communicate lessons learned to the Engineering Manager and project team.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of assignments, and maintain a reliable and dependable work ethic.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and communicate challenges and recommended process improvements.
  • Submit accurate timesheets for payroll processing.
  • Demonstrate courtesy and ability to work with others in the office.
  • Provide other related support as requested.
  • Show the ability to enter data quickly, correctly, and efficiently.
  • Understand how to convert data from older sources into digital formats.
  • Perform the installation, replacement, and removal of fiber optic patch cables.
  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, and cleaning of fiber optic cables and terminations.

  • Proficiency in GIS systems and data manipulation.
