Job Title: Lighting Designer/Programmer

RWS Global is a leading production company that provides custom-designed and pre-packaged events and live shows for corporations, theme parks, cruise ships, resorts, and the fashion industry.

We are seeking a highly skilled Lighting Designer/Programmer to join our team of world-class designers and production staff.

Job Summary:

The Lighting Designer/Programmer will work with the Technical Production Manager to oversee all lighting design, programming, and system needs for our events and productions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and programming lighting systems for events and productions
  • Ensuring all lighting fixtures are properly focused and the lighting system is operational
  • Assisting the Technical Production Manager with designing and implementing lighting systems
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for lighting systems
  • Collaborating with other production staff to ensure smooth execution of events and productions
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of professional lighting experience in the entertainment industry
  • Basic knowledge of all technical elements associated with lighting production, design, and installation
  • Experience with power tools, ladders, lifts, and electricity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
